This is really important as many of us live in a constant state of fight or flight, and we can struggle with purposefully eliciting the relaxation response, but this is where important healing can take place in the body and mind.

Comfortable shoes and clothes, such as a t-shirt and pants (but especially ones that can get dirty as the goats can have muddy hooves!), are recommended as it can provide adequate protection and coverage of your skin. White and light colors are discouraged, as mud and dirt can stain.
Chairs to sit in to allow for optimal comfort in petting and snuggling the goats
Clean towels to place on your lap and/or back to help protect from dirty or potentially sharp goat hooves
Clean blankets to lie on should you choose get a goat massage, or if you are just more comfortable on the ground
